For the past weeks, the number of infected people by corona virus has been continuously rising. According to CNN News, United States has reported more than 66000 cases and 941 related deaths according to the data given by Johns Hopkins University.

Australia’s Victoria state is said to have reported 317 new cases within 24 hours on Thursday which is its first peak ever since the pandemic began. Of the 317 new cases they believe 28 were linked to known outbreaks whilst the rest are still under investigation.

Latin American countries and the Caribbean have now recorded more than 3.5 million cases of corona virus and more than 150 000 deaths according to the data given by the Johns Hopkins University.

India has also recorded more than 1 million cases of confirmed cases after its report of 34 956 new infections last Friday. Cases in India are said to have hit the poorest citizen most due to the devastating economic toll of lock-downs and job losses.
